The story

The town belongs to Charlie. Until Dick deals the wrong hand.

In 1935, organized crime boss Charlie Rodriguez and the Charlie Brothers own the town—cops, officials, casino, everything.

Then hard-boiled private detective Dick Polakowski bankrupts Charlie's casino at a game of Old Maid. Suddenly rich and spectacularly marked for death, Dick must survive crooked enforcers, a collapsing marriage, and an escalating campaign of revenge.

His path crosses Cherice Monroe, a nightclub singer on the run from the same mob, pulling them into an over-the-top battle packed with gunplay, romance, dance, and noir clichés turned sideways.

Built against the odds

An ambitious feature, made the independent way.

BullsEye was built with ingenuity, persistence, and a community determined to make an outsized feature possible. Production notes describe an approximately $9,000 budget, more than 50 collaborators, period costumes, three classic cars, custom camera rigs, practical action, and more than 100 CGI animations.

Limitations became part of the film's personality.
